    Here's a new video about plant intelligence. The best parts are between about 8 minutes until 11 minutes IMO. That's only 3 minutes for you ADHD people out there :tongue:

    Yeah, it did seem tacked on at the end. I suspect he has little interest in technology but since it was at TED he felt the need to relate it loosely to that.
    The bit I thought was coolest was the part about the electrochemical signals that show a part of the plant works like an animal brain. I need to learn more about that

    the electrochemical part seemed to me like the relationship was that the plant resemblance was like a small part of what a larger more complex brain does. by some very circuitous logic you could say that organic computing brain power and/or ai could be developed working from that basis.
    lol, watched a pretty funny horror/thriller called Splicer the other day. two scientists grow some female hybrid thing... i want so much to tell you some things that happen but i think it should be seen for the lols
    ANYHOO, cloned/spliced subbeh... i could totally use one of those! send it into production immediately!!
