    Mmm, I'm with telstra atm. Unfortunately dad is a cheapo so we got worst upload/download speeds they offer + 10GB upload download limit which isn't to bad.

    Speed also depends alot on the other peeps in the swarm. If there's only one seed and he has sh*tty broadband, you may aswell drop the torrent :wink:

    i dont know much about NZ internetz, but i have basically th fastest residential speed you can get in Aus (theoretically 2.4mbps?) and am paying $120 for 80gb, uploads dont count. well my housemate works for internerd so i'm actually paying about $10 :bigsmile:

    Oh nice that's pretty similar to my plan scorchy but unfortunately uploads do count. There is a company here that offers free uploads, and another one that offers free national traffic (or at least used to) but unfortunately neither of them offer large data caps.
    I'm paying $165NZD ($139AUD) for 100GB per month, unlimited speed.
    But I'm a member of quite a few private torrent sites and have submitted a lot of popular content (private torrent sites often have incentives like if it is your torrent you get 1% of all traffic on that torrent added to your ratio) so it has got to the stage now where I don't upload anything on torrents because my ratio increases by GBs per day by itself

    Sure! Well for TV shows I really recommend TVTorrents, I have used it for years and the speeds are the best of any tracker. Once you have experienced private trackers you will never want to go public again. Also for movies and software I recommend MovieX it's very good too, maybe not as good as TVT in terms of speed but there is lots of content available and a very active community. They also have an exclusive scene release group which is nice.
