    they should have released it a long time ago. honestly i have been playing 4.2 on private servers for over a year and there are a bunch of changes, instead of having a huge release why not just have several smaller ones. i've said that to them but they are all old-school, they don't understand that that is how games are updated these days.

    the whole md3 to md5 thing would be hard to implement overnight.. lol, it's taken them months to get this far!! releasing it in small patches would probaby break the game more than fix it.. though I do agree they should have fixed some of the things in 4.1

    Yeah but md5 is a recent thing. They only even considered it for the first time a few months ago, whereas before that they had a bunch of changes ready
