    I just don't care for the constant bashing of other operating systems, as if using one or the other defines who you are... or whether it takes 8 or 80 seconds to start.
    Keep us updated on the progress :> That looks fairly nice so far, although i'd go for a new background.. :P

    Sorry, I'll try to stop bashing Windows users. (See, I didn't say Winfags).

    It's finished now, more or less. Just need to configure my wireless card and install some special tools that *cough* aren't used for hacking people's wireless networks.
    It includes pretty much everything that you would find on your average Windows machine (It can also run Windows applications).

    Why would I use it over Windows Vista?
    It is much faster than Vista was, plus doesn't suck the battery like juice.
    It also has sexy special effects, a cool wallpaper, and is completely open source except for the Java Runtime Environment.
    Also, using Debian Linux makes me a cool nerd.

    Dude, you could say "why would you use a calculator over Vista" and my answer would be the same. Because Vista is an abomination of programming.

    Typically older stuff works flawlessly, newer stuff requires more work to get it working flawlessly.

    I'd love to share to around (A few people even wanted to buy it lol), but I have absolutely no idea how to make a bootable live CD out of it.

    And even if I could make a live CD image, it probably wouldn't work most computers.
