    I'm interested in your thoughts on it.
    Some modern Christians don't think it really matters if he did or not, they believe he had already proven his holiness during his lifetime and the resurrection story is just a cherry on top; nice but not necessary.
    Others, however (and I suspect this is a majority within the Christian movement) believe he did and see it as a core issue.

    I've just finished watching a cool debate - more like a conversation, really - between Mike Licona and Richard Carrier, both of whom are respected Christian historians, the former being a Christian himself and the latter just very interested in the subject. It's hosted on the Christian website 4Truth if anyone is interested.

    Anyways I know there's probably no one interested but thought I'd check

    went to a Catholic school for 7 years, still don't like the way religion is portrayed, and would consider myself non-religious.
    but I don't think religion matters all that much, I'm just glad it gives some people a reason to do good things, and I'm annoyed at the way countries use it to justify war. edit: vid is just wayy too long, would have been nice to be at the debate though, I'm a major sceptic to the "truth" contained in the bible
