Here's some ethereal knives action from Path of Exile

That's handy, it tells you the monsters resistances.
The life/mana orbs look a lot like the Diablo franchise =p

Yeah, its a game based off of Diablo 2, with the FF7 skill system (materia like), and the FFX passive tree. The item hunt is a lot more rewarding than Diablo 3 so far.

I like it when you get hit with an arrow in a game and it sticks around for a while ;D

Mount & Blade does this, and I agree - it's awesome. And your enemies' blood staining your sword (and your horse). And my arrows sticking out of various parts of a corpse and all the surrounding trees, showing off my ability to aim.

That reminds me, I still have mount and blade sitting around in one of my old hard drives. Have to play that at some point :)

It's nice once you figure out where you want to go on the tree, but it definitely takes some time to plan your character build!
