Na. Besides, there's some pretty intense console gamers out there.

PC gamers use teamchat to play the game tacticly and have a good freindly chat.

Console gamers use the teamchat to issue a deaththreat to anyone who is better than them (i.e everyone.)

It will end up just like CoD MW2. Console noobs having aim assist doing everything for them. Prepubescent 12 year olds screaming over the mic as if it's xbox live. Noobs constantly bragging about how l33t they think they are.

However, you will easily be able to tell if a gamer is on PC or console.

PC names: Fred, Joe, Fucking whatever.
    Console Names: xxxXXXXXXxxxXXxxxXXxxKwikskopezzzzZZXXXXXXxXXxXXxxXXXx

Perhaps. But today's games seem to be aimed more and more at consoles, and the PC gamers (who btw are more numerous than all console gamers combined) are getting neglected. Therefore I think that cross platform games should be the way of the future. Developers need to think about the market as a whole, not just their favourite platform, in order to get the widest market, and to please everybody.

Take Halo for example. First 2 titles were built for Xbox and PC (though admittedly Halo 2 seemed to be just a crappy port from the xbox, although that may have just been because the models were crap). After that they became xbox exclusive and to this day there are PC gamers begging for a PC release. Now if bungie had released the halo games on all the major platforms (PC, Xbox, PS2) they would have made shitloads more money, and there would have been millions more happy customers.
Now Halo may not be the best example here (as I'm only talking about the game being released on different platforms, not having cross-platform support), but hopefully you get the general idea.

I guess basically what I'm getting at (in a round about way) is that with all these platforms, the gaming market is splintering into factions. You've got the PC loyalists, the Xbox fanboys, and the PS fanboys, as well as Wii trying to nudge it's way in. What the developers really need to start focusing on is bringing the market back together. Uniting it. Within reason anyways. You're not going to want to play CoD multiplayer on the Wii (well maybe you will, but you won't stand much chance)

The only reason we don't have the exact same crap happening on voice chat in UrT is because we use separate voice chat servers and applications so the assholes can't just immediately join them.
Sure there will always be more noobs on consoles because there are less steps necessary to get a game running on a console than a computer, but on the other side of the coin some console gamers are incredibly talented and are almost indistinguishable from PC gamers at the high level. Yes PC gamers will always have better control of aim but in FPS games aim is only a small part of gameplay, it's tactical movement and cover that really decides who wins at the high level.
To use an example, in CS:S at the pro level in tournaments like WCG they use cover in such a way that they don't have to aim, they mostly wait for an enemy to enter their crosshair then fire.

TL;DR: If your gameplay relies so heavily on aim that using a console controller would make you a noob that's a problem with your gameplay, not with the hardware.
