    Makes sense, it's not as if jalapenos (or anything) are inherently hot, that's just how we react to them

    not only us, the heat itself is supposed to be a deterrent from predators, and i grow my own chillies, and whilst my tomatoes and cucumbers get eat, the chillies between them never get touched, hence why i find this funny
